If needed, these readers can still be enabled to output Wiegand via a separate activation card. Installation – The reader is wired as indicated on the control unit label.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eA backplate is included to ensure accurate mounting. Security screws are provided to secure the reader to the backplate. Operation – A token is read by holding it near the reader.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOnce read, the control unit checks the user’s access permissions. Access is then granted or denied accordingly.
