Heat My Home’s electric underfloor heating mats are ideal for heating rooms and warming floors beneath virtually any floor covering. The 200W mats are designed for use with tile and stone floors and their high output ensures a speedy warm up time; when installed onto insulation boards they can provide sole source heating even in high heat loss rooms such as conservatories.
The 160W range can be used directly beneath tile and stone floors, and beneath virtually any other floor covering if first installed beneath a 12mm layer of flexible leveling compound. In reasonably well insulated rooms the system can be used to provide sole source heating as well as floor warming.
The mats are compatible with any mains-Voltage underfloor heating controlled and this allows the floor and air temperature to be independently controlled. Heating mats should not be placed under any furniture without a 50mm air-gap beneath it, and we recommend deducting roughly 10% from your free floor area to provide you with the mat coverage to order.
