Torlan offers superior commercial and industrial, indoor and outdoor illumination, reducing complexity by combining traditional single and twin outputs into a single, slimline housing which can be either surface, BESA box** or suspension mounted**. Torlan is available in 653mm (2ft), 1263mm (4ft), 1563mm (5ft), and 1828mm (6ft) lengths.
Boasting an efficacy of up to 160lm/w***, Torlan is perfect for energy-efficient, professional lighting installations.
The complete range is constructed from anti-corrosive polycarbonate material, with an IP65 weatherproof rating coupled with an IK08 impact rating. The stainless steel diffuser clips also ensure longevity in any application. These features combined ensure Torlan can be used for a multitude of environments. The complete range offers selectable 3000K, 4000K, and 5700K white light outputs, wattage/lumen output and dimming controls**
Variant breakdown:
CWA – colour temperature and wattage adjustment via means of internal switches, giving the specifier and installer the ability to select the desired wattage/lumen output, as well as the required colour temperature. This is also useful for stockists as there is no need to stock single and twin variants with every CCT variation.
CDA – colour temperature and DALI control with the CCT adjusted using an internal switch. The DALI standard allows individual dimming control of each luminaire compatible with DALI compliant lighting control systems. This model allows for the selection of 3 CCTs as well as DALI control.
CWMA – colour temperature and microwave sensor control with the CCT and sensor parameters adjusted using internal switches. This model allows for selecting 2 wattages and 3 CCTs, with programmable on/off control via means of the built-in sensor.
All variants are available with self-test 3-hour emergency options.

IMPORTANT – Good supplied as ordered and returned for credit must be accompanied by an Invoice Number. We reserve the right to retain such sums as equal to the value by which the goods have diminished as a result of handling by you, the consumer, beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods. You will be liable for the cost of return of goods and costs of services provided during the cancellation period, or deduction for use. Special orders cannot be returned for credit or exchange
1. FAULTY PRODUCTS
a) Products that are faulty must be returned within the manufacturers' warranty period which is usually 12 months.
b) The complete product must be returned unless, if agreed by the Company, a specific part may be returned.
c) Products within the manufacturers' specific warranty period will be repaired, replaced, or a refund given at the discretion of the Company.
West Midland Electrics does not accept liability for indirect or consequential loss.
2. NON-FAULTY GOODS
a) Products must be complete and in their original packaging with any instruction leaflets.
b) Products must be returned within 28 days of receipt.
c) Refunds for any products not required are at the discretion of the Company.
d) Non-standard products that have been ordered specially cannot be refunded under any circumstances.
e) Customers are responsible for covering the cost of and arranging returns of non faulty goods.
f) Handling charges apply to all home lighting products.
3. PROCEDURE FOR RETURNING FAULTY PRODUCTS TO West Midland Electrics (or requesting a replacement).
Please contact the branch that supplied the goods and have ready the following information:
a) The invoice number
b) The date of purchase
c) The product code(s)
d) The reason for returning the products
You will be advised of how the products will be exchanged or of the issue of a refund.
