Connecting PoE Cameras via NVR

Connect your NVR to your router using an Ethernet cable like the Knightsbridge: NETC65M, 5m UTP CAT6 Networking Cable, if you need to purchase any cables make sure to take a look at our Wiring Accessories 

  • Ensure DHCP is enabled in the NVR settings
  • Reboot the system, the NVR should now have internet
  • You can check connectivity via Network > Platform Access
  • Link the NVR to your Hik-Connect app

 

For Wi-Fi Cameras

  1. Power up the camera
  2. Open the Hik-Connect app on your mobile or tablet device
  3. Scan the camera’s QR code using your device
  4. Follow prompts to join your home Wi-Fi network
  5. Complete setup and check live feed
