Smart Security Kits

Smart security kits here are wireless intruder alarm kits that bring a control panel or hub together with detectors, sirens and a way to arm the system. They include Ajax kits built around a Hub 2 (2G), Hikvision AX PRO kits such as the DS-PWA96-Kit2-WE, ESP smart alarm kits such as the ECSPK5 and Pyronix Enforcer kits such as the ENF/KIT3-UK, plus the Pyronix EUROENF/KIT1 hybrid expansion kit.

Decide how the system will report and be armed first, then check the kit contents against the rooms to protect. Ajax makes most of the kits on this page.

Ajax kits

Ajax kits such as the 109842.295.WH1 combine a hub with detectors, sirens and a way to arm the system. The 109842.295.WH1 has a Hub 2 (2G), two MotionProtect S, a DoorProtect S, two SpaceControl keyfobs, a StreetSiren S DoubleDeck and a HomeSiren S. The 109843.296.BL1 has a KeyPad Plus S in place of the keyfobs, the 111234.302.WH1 a KeyPad TouchScreen, and the 111232.301.WH1 pairs a KeyPad TouchScreen with MotionCam S (PhOD) Jeweller detectors.

Hikvision AX PRO kits

The AX PRO kits use two-way 868 MHz wireless and report over LAN, Wi-Fi and a cellular modem. The DS-PWA64-Kit1-WE supports up to 64 wireless zones, including PIRCAMs for video verification. The DS-PWA96-KIT1-WE supports up to 96 wireless zones and 32 areas with dual-SIM 3G/4G. The DS-PWA96-Kit2-WE kit contents are a control panel, a keypad, an internal siren, two wireless PIRs and a wireless magnetic contact.

ESP and Pyronix kits

ESP smart alarm kits such as the ECSPK5 and ECSPK6 are Wi-Fi enabled with GSM back-up, run through an app with no additional subscriptions or fees, and have a built-in backup battery. The Pyronix ENF/KIT1-UK has a two-way wireless Enforcer panel with a DIGI-Wi-Fi communicator, KX pet immune PIR detectors, two wireless keyfobs and a wireless Deltabell module. The ENF/KIT3-UK has four KX PIRs with a 10m range and a mini magnetic contact. To add wireless devices to a wired Pyronix EURO panel, the EUROENF/KIT1 expander kit adds up to 32 wireless zones.

Can an alarm kit send a photo or video of an alarm?

Yes, some kits support it. The Ajax 35651.114.WH1 hub supports photo verification, and the Ajax KIT 5 S 90770.246.BL1 supports photo verification via Wings with photos up to 640×480. Hikvision AX PRO kits such as the DS-PWA64-Kit1-WE support video verification with PIRCAM devices and store short alarm clips on the panel.

Do I need a subscription for a smart alarm kit?

Not for the ESP smart alarm kits: the ECSPK3, ECSPK5 and ECSPK6 support activations and monitoring through an app with no additional subscriptions or fees required. They are Wi-Fi enabled with GSM back-up and have a built-in backup battery with up to 8 hours standby time.

What is in a Pyronix Enforcer kit?

The ENF/KIT1-UK and ENF/KIT3-UK each have a two-way wireless Enforcer panel with a DIGI-Wi-Fi communicator, KX pet immune PIR detectors and a wireless Deltabell module. The ENF/KIT3-UK has four KX PIRs with a 10m range and a two-way wireless mini magnetic contact, and the ENF/KIT1-UK has two wireless keyfobs. On the ENF/KIT1-UK and ENF/KIT3-UK the cover and backplate are not included.

How many zones does a Hikvision AX PRO kit support?

Up to 64 or 96 wireless zones, set by the panel: the DS-PWA64-Kit1-WE supports up to 64 wireless zones. The DS-PWA96-KIT1-WE supports up to 96 wireless zones and 32 areas, with up to 48 tags and 48 keyfobs. The kits use two-way 868 MHz wireless and report over LAN, Wi-Fi and a cellular modem.

Can I add wireless devices to a wired Pyronix alarm?

Yes, the Pyronix EUROENF/KIT1 expander hybrid kit adds wireless devices to a wired EURO range panel. The EUROENF/KIT1 expands the panel by up to 32 wireless zones and 32 wireless keyfobs and connects up to 2 wireless bells. The EUROENF/KIT1 contains wireless PIRs designed to protect up to three rooms and a magnetic contact to secure an entry point.
