Commercial Display Mounts & Accessories

Commercial display mounts hold flat screens and interactive displays on the floor, wall, ceiling or a column, or on wheels so they can be moved. Types include floor stands, mobile display carts, video conferencing stands, wall and ceiling mounts, and rails and columns, mostly from B-Tech, with Vanco and Hikvision mounts alongside. Examples are the B-Tech BT8508/BS cart for interactive displays over 72" and the BT8712 twin screen video conferencing stand.

Choosing Commercial Display Mounts & Accessories

Choose by where the screen has to sit, such as on wheels, on a floor stand, for video calls, or on a rail or column.

Trolleys and display carts

The BT8508/BS is a mobile solution for extra-large interactive displays over 72", with levelling screws for height adjustment, integrated cable management and non-marking 4" braked castors. The BT8566/BB screen trolley suits touchscreen displays such as the Samsung Flip, and its rotational interface turns the display 90° from landscape to portrait. The BT8540/BB mounts screens and interactive displays at a low level, with incremented tilt adjustment up to 90°.

Floor stands and signage stands

The BTF840/BB mounts screens up to 65" in landscape or portrait, and its heavy duty steel base removes the need to bolt to the floor. The BT8587/B is a display stand for extra-large screens up to 86", suited to shop fronts and close-to-the-window installations; its retractable floor base moves the stand up to 400mm backwards for servicing. Where the stand must be fixed, the BT8538BB bolt down stand mounts two XL screens side by side on a small footprint.

Video conferencing

The BT8712 is a 2m tall twin screen video conferencing stand with a freestanding base, so the screens can be repositioned as required. The BT8517/B display cart mounts twin screens up to 75" side by side and has a VC shelf with an adjustable mounting arm for a camera above or below the screens.

Rails and columns

The BT8390-150/B horizontal mounting rail is made from aluminium and takes a variety of interface arms and mounts; rails can be cut to shorter lengths or joined with the BT8390-EXT/B. The BT8380-EXTV extension kit lengthens vertical columns with 4 steel joining bars, and the BT8385-FTC kit lets a Mode-AL column run from the floor to the ceiling.

Frequently asked questions

What is a display cart used for?

A display cart is a mobile stand on braked castors that carries a large screen or interactive display, so it can be moved between rooms. The B-Tech BT8508/BS is made for interactive displays over 72", such as Microsoft's 84" Surface Hub, with levelling screws and non-marking 4" braked castors. The BT8517/B cart mounts twin screens up to 75" side by side for video conferencing.

Can a display floor stand be bolted to the floor?

Yes, some floor stands are made to be bolted down, while others use a heavy base so that no bolting is needed. The BT83LAEC015-B/BB is a bolt-down stand made for the LG 136" All-in-One Essential Series, and the BT8538BB is a bolt-down stand that mounts two XL screens side by side on a small footprint. The heavy duty steel base of the BTF840/BB removes the need to bolt it to the floor.

Which floor stand suits a single screen?

Match the stand to the screen. The BTF840/BB takes 39"-65" displays in landscape or portrait, on a heavy duty steel base with adjustable levelling feet. The BT8581BB column floor stand is for small to medium screens with VESA fixings up to 200 x 200, mounted at any height on the column. The BT8587/B suits extra-large screens up to 86", with a retractable floor base and an internal storage area in the base.

What is a video conferencing stand?

A video conferencing stand holds one or two screens with space for a camera, so a meeting room's call screens are mounted on one stand. The B-Tech BT8712 is a 2m tall twin screen video conferencing stand with a freestanding base and optional media storage. The BT8517/B display cart mounts twin screens up to 75" side by side, with a VC shelf and an adjustable arm for a camera above or below the screens.

Can a display column be fixed from floor to ceiling?

Yes, a display column can be bolted to the floor and secured to the ceiling with a ceiling mount, using a floor-to-ceiling kit made for that column. The B-Tech BT8385-FTC kit fits by removing the back plate of a BT8385 column and fixing onto the slots inside it, and is used with a B-Tech 50mm diameter pole. Extension bars are included so vertical columns can be joined together.
