Bosch BVMS Licences

Bosch BVMS licences here are software licences for the Bosch Video Management System in its Lite, Plus and Professional editions, with DIVAR IP all-in-one licences and Intelligent Video Analytics (IVA) Pro licences. Examples include the F.01U.393.665 BVMS Professional camera expansion licence, the F.01U.393.686 BVMS Plus channel expansion licence, the F.01U.358.976 DIVAR IP decoder expansion and the F.01U.409.537 IVA Pro Perimeter licence.

Choosing Bosch BVMS Licences

Match a licence to the BVMS edition already running, then add expansions by part number, because the part number rather than the description identifies the licence.

BVMS Professional

BVMS Professional manages digital video, audio and data across an IP network and can manage up to 2000 cameras with a single recording server. Its embedded resilience keeps operations running even when the management server and recording servers fail. Expansion licences add capacity by type: the F.01U.393.665 adds cameras, the F.01U.393.655 channels, the F.01U.393.659 workstations, the F.01U.393.661 keyboards, the F.01U.393.660 DVRs and the F.01U.393.657 sites. The F.01U.389.494 is the MBV-XCHAN-101 BVMS Professional 10.1 camera/decoder expansion.

BVMS Plus and BVMS Lite

BVMS Plus can be deployed on appliances or as software. Its expansions include the F.01U.393.686 channel, F.01U.393.688 site, F.01U.393.689 panel and F.01U.393.692 subsystem licences, and the F.01U.389.484 adds a workstation. BVMS Lite expansions include the F.01U.393.679 camera, F.01U.393.674 channel, F.01U.393.673 keyboard and F.01U.393.677 panel licences. The Plus and Lite licences here are provided as an e-license via e-mail.

DIVAR IP licences

The F.01U.358.975 is the DIVAR IP Expansion for AIO 5000, License Lite Base, and the F.01U.358.976 is the MBV-1CHAN-DIP camera decoder expansion for DIVAR IP all-in-one systems.

IVA Pro video analytics

IVA Pro licences add video analytics for a specific task. The F.01U.409.537 IVA Pro Perimeter is for long-range intrusion detection along perimeters and detects crawling and rolling movement. The F.01U.409.538 IVA Pro Traffic counts and classifies vehicles and supports Automatic Incident Detection. The F.01U.412.107 IVA Pro Intelligent Tracking gives 7100i series PTZ cameras AI-based autotracking, and the F.01U.427.631 IVA Pro Appearance extracts people appearance for a later forensic search.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between BVMS Lite, Plus and Professional?

They are editions of the Bosch Video Management System, and an expansion licence must match the edition installed. The BVMS Professional licences here manage up to 2000 cameras with a single recording server and keep running if the management and recording servers fail. BVMS Plus can be deployed on appliances or as software, and BVMS Lite has camera, channel, keyboard and panel expansions here.

How is a BVMS licence supplied?

The F.01U.393.656 Professional, the F.01U.393.686 Plus and the F.01U.393.674 Lite BVMS licences are provided as an e-license via e-mail. When matching a licence to an existing installation, work from the Bosch part number rather than the description, because the part number identifies the exact licence.

What do IVA Pro licences add?

IVA Pro licences add Intelligent Video Analytics for a specific task. The F.01U.409.537 IVA Pro Perimeter detects long-range intrusion along perimeters, including crawling persons, and the F.01U.409.538 IVA Pro Traffic detects, classifies and locates vehicles. The F.01U.412.107 IVA Pro Intelligent Tracking gives 7100i series PTZ cameras AI-based autotracking, and the F.01U.427.631 IVA Pro Appearance extracts people appearance for forensic search.

Are there licences for DIVAR IP all-in-one systems?

Yes, the F.01U.358.976 is the MBV-1CHAN-DIP camera decoder expansion, a BVMS license for DIVAR IP all-in-one systems, and the F.01U.358.975 is the DIVAR IP Expansion for AIO 5000, License Lite Base. The F.01U.358.975 also allows third-party cameras, storage and other systems to be integrated into BVMS.
