Fused Spurs

A fused spur is how a fixed appliance gets its own protected supply off a ring circuit — a boiler, an extractor, an outside light — with a fuse sized for that appliance rather than for the whole ring.

The range is Knightsbridge throughout and covers switched and unswitched fused connection units at 13A, double-pole switching, versions with a neon indicator to show the supply is live, and flex-outlet models where the appliance cable leaves the front plate. Finishes run from moulded white to brushed chrome and matt black metal, so a spur can match the grid modules and accessories already on the wall. Fuse rating, pole configuration and finish are stated per product.

Spurs mount in a box — see Back Boxes & Pattress Boxes for interior work and Outdoor Electrical Boxes for external positions.
