Ajax Door & Window Sensors

Decide between wireless and wired first, because a Jeweller detector talks to the hub by radio and a Fibra detector needs a cable run to a Fibra hub.

Door and window contacts

The DoorProtect U 121293.03.WH1 is a wireless Jeweller contact with a pre-installed CR123A battery, typical battery life up to 7 years and a radio range up to 1,200 m in open space; the 121294.03.BL1 is the black DoorProtect U. The Superior DoorProtect 133194.03.WH1 is a white Jeweller contact with a tamper switch and LED event indication. On the wired side, the DoorProtect Fibra 44393.03.WH1 has two reed switches so the magnet can sit on the left or right. The DoorProtect Plus Fibra adds shock and tilt sensing, with a line reach up to 2,000 m over U/UTP Cat.5.

Extra wired inputs

The DoorProtect Fibra, DoorProtect Plus Fibra, DoorProtect U and Superior DoorProtect all accept a third-party normally closed wired detector. The DoorProtect Fibra, the DoorProtect Plus Fibra and the black DoorProtect U 121294.03.BL1 do not power that external detector, so it needs its own supply.

Glass-break and curtain detectors

The GlassProtect S, GlassProtect U and GlassProtect Fibra listen for breaking glass with an electret microphone and the DualTone algorithm, covering up to 9 m with about 180° horizontal coverage. The Curtain Outdoor Jeweller 101441.289.WH1 is a narrow-beam detector for windows, doorways and fences, combining two PIR sensors with a 24 GHz K-band microwave, rated IP55, with an adjustable range of typically 8 to 12 m.

SmartBracket spares

The 9520.03.BL and 9521.03.WH SmartBracket panels let a DoorProtect be fitted without opening the detector and keep its tamper function, and the 22051.03.BL and 22053.03.WH hold the magnet half of a DoorProtect or DoorProtect Plus.
