Compact PoE switches for cameras and edge devices

The Ruijie RG-NIS2100-4GT2SFP-HP and RG-NIS3100-4GT2SFP-HP have four Gigabit PoE ports and two SFP uplinks, and the RG-NIS2100-8GT2SFP-HP has eight Gigabit PoE ports and two SFP uplinks. On the RG-NIS2100-8GT2SFP-HP, port 1 is PoE++ (IEEE 802.3bt) for devices needing up to 90 W, ports 2–8 give up to 30 W, and the default PoE budget is about 228 W, adjustable up to 300 W. The AMG350-4GAT-1G-P120 is an unmanaged plug-and-play switch with four 802.3af/at PoE ports, one Gigabit RJ45 uplink and a PoE budget of about 120 W.

Built for harsh sites

The Ruijie RG-NIS2100 models and the RG-NIS3100-4GT2SFP-HP have IP40 aluminium housings and mount on a DIN rail or a wall, and the RG-NIS2100 models have 6 kV surge protection. The AMG350-4GAT-1G-P120 and RG-NIS2100-4GT2SFP-HP are rated for −40°C to +75°C operation, while the AMG510-4G-24S-4XS is light-industrial, rated −10°C to +60°C for edge or non-data-centre installations.

Managed fibre switching

The AMG510-4G-24S-4XS is a fully managed Layer-2+ switch with 4 Gigabit RJ45 ports, 24 SFP ports and 4 SFP+ ports that run at up to 10G. It adds RSTP/MSTP, ERPS, LACP, VLANs, IGMP snooping, 802.1x and static Layer-3 routing, managed by web GUI, CLI or SNMP v1–v3. The AMG510-4G-24S-4XS takes 100–240 VAC mains with a 12–48 VDC backup input, and its SFP and SFP+ transceivers are ordered separately.

Management and power

The RG-NIS2100 models have ERPS ring protection. The RG-NIS3100-4GT2SFP-HP takes dual redundant 12–56 V DC inputs and has an alarm relay output for power failure monitoring, the AMG350-4GAT-1G-P120 has dual redundant DC inputs on a removable terminal block, and the RG-NIS2100-4GT2SFP-HP comes without a power adapter.
