Choose by the camera the housing has to fit, then by the conditions on site and how the housing will be powered.
Housing ratings
The Axis 5900-271 T93F10 Outdoor Housing supports IP66 and NEMA 4X ratings against the ingress of dust and water, and an IK10 rating for protection against impact and vandal acts. The Bosch F.01U.302.305 is IP66, IK10 and NEMA 4X rated and protects camera/lens combinations up to 262 mm in length. The Haydon HAYMETRO 12/24 is weather proof to IP67, with a side opening and a quick release removable top. The Hikvision DS-1332HZ is an indoor housing rated IP54.
Heaters, fans and wipers
The Axis 03048-001 has a built-in camera heater and fan, and includes a removable sunshield. The Hanwha SHB-4300H has a built-in de-mister, heater and fan. The Hikvision DS-1331HZ-W has a fan and wiper, and the Axis 03047-001 has a built-in wiper.
Power over Ethernet or AC/DC
The Axis 5900-281 needs 15 W PoE at a cold start in -40 °C. The i-PRO CKS605POE is an external housing with heater (PoE) for IP box cameras.
Hot locations and vehicles
The Axis 02672-001 TP3826-E lets selected Axis onboard cameras be mounted on the outside of vehicles such as buses, trams and emergency vehicles, rated IP66/IP67, IP6K9K and IK09.
In-ceiling housings
The Hanwha SHD-1400FPW is a plenum rated flush mount for the QNV-C8083R and C9083R, and the Hanwha SHD1350FPW is an aluminium in-ceiling, flush-mount housing for Wisenet X-Plus modular cameras.
