Choosing EZVIZ Products

Pick the device for the job first, then check how it will be powered and where it keeps its recordings.

Cameras

Indoor pan and tilt cameras such as the C6, with 353° pan and 133° tilt at 2K+, and the 3K E6 give near-360° coverage from one position. Outdoors, the CS-C3T is a 1080p bullet camera in an IP67 housing, and the C8C and H8c pan and tilt to follow people. Wire-free cameras such as the BC1c run on a 10,400 mAh rechargeable battery, and the CS-BC1-B2 kit pairs two BC1 cameras with a base station. The EB3 4G and EB8 work over 4G LTE where there is no Wi-Fi. The CS-EL3 combines a 2K camera with a 780-lumen wall light.

Doorbells, doorphones and locks

The HP3 Pro is a battery doorbell with a solar panel and 32 GB eMMC storage. The EP3x Pro adds a second, downward camera and can be hardwired to 8–24 VAC. The DB1C Kit pairs a wired doorbell camera with a chime and a transformer, and the CS-HP7 is a wired doorphone with a 7" touch monitor and RFID badge unlocking. The DL01S fits over an existing deadbolt for keyless entry.

Solar panels and power stations

The Solar Charging Panel-E keeps an EZVIZ battery camera with a USB Type-C port charged. The CS-PBC12-R100-10AH adds a 37.23 Wh battery and dual USB outputs to power up to two cameras. For camping or home emergency backup, the PS300 power station stores 313 Wh, and the PS-1300 1,324 Wh of LiFePO4 with a UPS function.

Around the home

The 4-piece home sensor kit pairs a Zigbee gateway with a PIR sensor, an open/close sensor and a smart button. The CS-BM1 baby monitor gives crying and out-of-crib alerts, and the LB1 smart bulb is an E27 lamp giving 806 lm at 8 W on 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi with no hub required.

Frequently asked questions

How do I keep an EZVIZ battery camera charged?

Add a solar panel so the battery tops itself up. The Solar Charging Panel-E suits EZVIZ battery cameras with a USB Type-C port, and the CS-PBC12-R100-10AH stores energy in a 37.23 Wh battery and can power up to two cameras at once. Some cameras build it in: the EB5 has an integrated 1.4 W solar panel, and the HB90 kit includes an 8 W panel.

Is there an EZVIZ camera that works without Wi-Fi?

Yes, the 4G models do. The EB3 4G is a wire-free bullet camera using 4G LTE and a rechargeable 5,200 mAh battery, and the CS-EB8/SP bundle pairs the EB8 pan and tilt camera, which runs over a cellular SIM with no Wi-Fi required, with a solar panel for sites without mains power. Check local 4G band compatibility first.

Does an EZVIZ doorbell need wiring?

Not always, as the battery models can run wire-free. The HP3 Pro is battery powered with an included solar panel, and the EP3x Pro has a 5200 mAh battery, a solar panel and optional 8–24 VAC hardwiring. The DB1C Kit is wired and pairs the doorbell with a chime and a transformer, and the CS-TRANSFORMER BT16 gives 8, 12 or 24 V AC on a DIN rail.

Can EZVIZ devices record without a cloud subscription?

Yes, several store footage locally. The EP3x Pro doorbell has built-in 32 GB eMMC with no subscription required for local clips, and basic recording on the HP3 Pro does not require a subscription either. Cameras such as the C6W record to a microSD card, with EZVIZ cloud storage offered as an option.
