USB Hubs & Adapters

USB hubs and adapters add ports and connections to a laptop or PC through one of its USB sockets. The range includes three and four port hubs for USB Type-A and Type-C computers, a USB-C to Gigabit Ethernet adaptor, an SD and MicroSD card reader, a Bluetooth 5.0 adapter, a 4G LTE USB modem, a USB sharing switch for several computers and a USB 2.0 extender kit that runs over Cat5e or Cat6 cable.

Choosing USB Hubs & Adapters

Choose by the connection you want to add and by the USB port the computer has.

Hubs

The AV:Link 500.102UK expands a laptop's USB Type-A port into one USB3.2 port and two USB2.0 ports, with transfer speeds up to 5Gbps on USB3.2 and 480Mbps on USB2.0. The 500.103UK starts from a USB Type-C port and gives three USB Type-A ports. For four ports, the 500.105UK ultra-slim hub gives two USB3.2 Type-C and two USB3.2 Type-A ports in a brushed aluminium finish, and the TRENDnet TU3-H4E adds four 5Gbps USB 3.0 ports on a 14cm integrated cable. The TUC-H4E adds four USB 3.0 ports to a USB-C computer on a 12.5cm cable, and the TU3-H4E and TUC-H4E draw their power from the USB port with no power adapter.

Network and wireless adapters

The AV:Link 500.104UK converts a USB3.0 Type-C port into an RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet port at 10/100/1000Mbps, for laptops and PCs without an ethernet port. The TRENDnet TBW-110UB is a Bluetooth 5.0 USB adapter about the size of a penny, with a class 1 radio rated for up to 100m. The D-Link DWM-222 is a 4G LTE USB adapter with an integrated SIM card slot and up to 150 Mbps download.

Card reader, sharing and extension

The 500.110UK card reader takes SD and MicroSD cards and has a double-ended design that plugs into USB Type-A or Type-C devices. The TRENDnet TK-U404 lets a mouse, keyboard, flash drive or scanner be shared between up to four computers, with an LED that shows the active computer. To place a USB device away from the computer, the Haydon HAY-USB100M pairs a transmitter and a receiver over a single Cat5e or Cat6 cable.
