Downlights

For a fire-rated ceiling, GU10 downlights such as the FireNova FRNTMW take a lamp of up to 7W and fit without tools, and the VFRDGICC is rated for 30, 60 or 90 minutes in solid timber, web-joist and I-joist ceilings. The SpektroLED Evo SPKEVF is an integrated LED alternative, fire rated and IP65, with switchable 5W or 7W output at 2700K, 3000K, 4000K or 6000K. For commercial ceilings, SARA downlights such as the SA3040CAD select 30W, 35W or 40W and 3000K, 4000K or 5000K.

Bulkheads, battens and non-corrosive fittings

Many commercial fittings let you set colour temperature, and sometimes wattage, on site. The BT9ACTEM bulkhead switches between 3000K, 4000K and 5700K and adds a 3-hour maintained emergency function, while the BT EVO BTEVP selects 9W, 14W or 18W, carries IP65 and IK10 ratings and has a daylight sensor. Torlan fittings such as the TORCWST5 give 26W or 48W from one 5ft body with a 3-hour self-test emergency battery, and the BATS6UHLEM batten produces 13500lm from 100W.

Outdoor and landscape

Outside, pick by mounting: up/down wall lights such as the OWALL02BK, spike lights such as the GU10SPIKE, stainless ground and deck lights such as the LEDM08W1, and the WGULED driveover light, which is IP67 and takes a 7W LED lamp. Floodlights include the FLN30 and the FLPA200D, which gives 20000 lumens from 200W.
