Smart & Wireless Smoke Alarms

Interlinked smoke alarms sound together when any one of them detects, which is the difference between a smoke alarm heard from a bedroom and one that is not.

Ajax FireProtect 2 links over Jeweller to an Ajax hub, adding a smartphone-app alert and remote monitoring. Some models combine smoke, heat and CO in one detector, in mains and battery versions. The RB models use dual-spectrum optical sensing, and some do not react to water vapour. Aico RadioLINK+ links optical smoke alarms across a dwelling: the Ei650iRF runs on a sealed 10-year lithium battery, with AudioLINK+ for reading an alarm's event data. Neither system needs interconnect wiring between devices.

For carbon monoxide on the same system see Carbon Monoxide Detectors, and for mains-wired and standalone alarms Smoke Alarms & Detectors. More Ajax smoke detectors are in Ajax Smoke Detectors. Most of the devices here link by radio or to an alarm hub.
