Enforcer and EURO panels

The Enforcer V11 ENF32UK-WE is a hybrid panel with onboard Wi-Fi and two-way wireless. It has 32 wireless zones onboard, expandable to 64, plus 2 wired zones, and is graded EN Grade 2. The ENF/KIT3-UK kit pairs the panel with four wireless KX pet immune PIRs, a mini magnetic contact and a wireless Deltabell module, with the cover and backplate chosen separately. For wired sites, the EURO76/S-UK hybrid panel has 76 zones and is compatible with the HomeControl+ app as standard.

Detectors and contacts

The wired KX10DP covers 10 metres and ignores pets weighing 24kg or less, while its wireless twin, the KX10DP-WE, tolerates animals up to 20kg. For higher risk, the KX15DTAM is a dual-technology detector with anti-masking at Grade 3. The KX18DC curtain detector gives a long, narrow 18 m pattern for shop fronts, display windows and corridors. Outside, the XDL12TT-WE combines two PIRs and a microwave sensor in an IP55 case. The MCNANO-WE contact fits within door and window frames, and the NANO/SHOCK-WE shock sensor fits uPVC frames.

Sounders, communicators and life safety

The Deltabell E FPDELTAE3MOD is a wired Grade 3 bell module with a piezo sounder, LED strobe, an IP65 housing and an internal NiMH backup battery, and its siren cuts off after 15 minutes. Lids such as the red FPDELTA-CR fit live Deltabell modules or dummy bases. DIGI-LAN reports over an existing broadband line in Contact ID IP or SIA IP and sends push notifications, and the DIGI-GPRS adds a mobile path with a SIM card that is not supplied. The HUD/MED-WE pendant raises a hold-up or medical alert, the HEAT-WE triggers at 57°C, and the CO-WE2 sounds an 85dB alarm and notifies the Pyronix apps.

How do I reset a Pyronix alarm after a tamper?

First find and fix the cause, such as a loose detector cover, an open siren lid or a damaged cable. Then enter a valid user code at the keypad to clear the tamper. If the system is set to need an engineer reset after a tamper, your installer will have to reset it, so contact them rather than opening the equipment yourself.

Are Pyronix alarms NACOSS approved?

No, NACOSS approval is not given to alarm products. NACOSS Gold is a National Security Inspectorate scheme that approves installation companies, so it is the installer who holds it. For the equipment itself, look for a security grade such as EN 50131 Grade 2, which several Pyronix detectors carry. Insurers often ask for an approved installer.
