Mixers

A mixer blends microphones, instruments and playback sources into one balanced signal for the speakers, an amplifier or a recording. Live and portable mixers

Count the microphones, instruments and players, then add a spare channel or two. The Citronic Q-PAD 170.814UK has 2 mono channels and doubles as a USB audio interface, the CMA-series 170.864UK has 4 mono and 2 stereo inputs with 99 DSP effects, and the CSX-18 170.885UK console takes 14 mono mic/line inputs. The CSR-63 170.809UK fits a rack with 6 mic/line and 3 stereo channels.

Powered mixers

A powered mixer has a stereo amplifier built in, so passive speakers connect directly. The Citronic CSP 170.841UK is rated 200W with 8 inputs, the 170.845UK 2 x 350W with 14 inputs, and the FLITE-600 170.600UK packs 2 x 300W, two UHF microphones and DSP effects into a moulded flight case.

DJ mixers
