CDVI Products

CDVI makes access control and door hardware, and this page carries its range: electromagnetic locks with their brackets and housings, exit buttons, touchless exit switches and emergency door releases, proximity and MIFARE readers, keypads and credentials, and the Atrium A22K IP controller. Alongside them sit 2EASY video door entry, TX26 gate transmitters with RX26 receivers, U4GO long-range vehicle readers and DIGIWAY automatic door parts such as the EN16005-KIT-U-SR.

Plan a CDVI door from the lock outwards, then choose how people get in and out.

Maglocks and brackets

Surface maglocks such as the C3S11 (300 kg) and C5S11 (500 kg) are fail-safe, releasing when power is lost, and report lock status through a relay. For an external door, the I400SR has a stainless steel housing rated IP68 and IK10. The ML-350M-PL-12 is a 650 kg mortice lock fire tested to 60 minutes to EN14846. Z and L bracket kits such as the 300-ZLAC fit CDVI 300 kg and 400 kg surface maglocks on inward-opening doors.

Getting out: exit and emergency release

The RTE-EX green dome button is rated IP65 and IK10 for outdoor doors. Touchless switches such as the RTE-IRS and RTE-WIR release the door with a wave of the hand, which suits hospitals and schools. For emergencies, the EM200 is a break-glass release, and the DBB-22-04 combines a green dome exit button with a resettable double-pole release.

Readers, keypads and credentials

Proximity readers such as the STAR-PB mullion reader and the flush MOONARWB read 125 kHz cards and give a Wiegand 26, 30 or 44-bit output. For higher security, the K2 and K4 KRYPTO mullion readers take MIFARE DESFire EV2 cards as well as Bluetooth and NFC phone credentials, and the K4 adds a touch keypad. The standalone DGA keypad holds 100 user codes with no separate controller. The Atrium A22K controls 2 doors and 4 readers over IP.

Gates and video entry

The TX26-E4 hand-held transmitter has four channels and a range of up to 250m in open field, and receivers such as the RX26-Z2 store 85 transmitter channels. 2EASY video entry runs on a non-polarised 2-wire bus: the CDV-T5F door station has a 5in touchscreen, a 170° fisheye camera and a dual card reader.

Frequently asked questions

What does fail-safe mean on a CDVI maglock?

A fail-safe lock releases the door when its power is cut, so people are not trapped in a power failure or when a fire alarm drops the supply. The C3S11, C5S11 and V3SR maglocks all work this way. The ML-350M-PL-12 mortice lock is also fail-safe and needs power to lock, and it adds a bi-directional snib for manual release.

How does a CDVI touchless exit button work?

It uses an infrared sensor, so a wave of the hand in front of the plate triggers the exit relay without anyone touching it. The RTE-IRS and RTE-WIR have a brushed stainless faceplate and a bi-colour LED, and the RTE-WIR adds an adjustable relay timer of 0.1–30 s. The RTE-IRS relay is rated 2 A at 24 VDC and runs from a 12–24 VDC supply.

What is CDVI KRYPTO?

KRYPTO is CDVI’s high-security access control line, with end-to-end AES encryption between the reader and the controller. The K2 and K4 readers read MIFARE DESFire EV2 credentials and phone credentials over Bluetooth, and they are rated IP65 and IK10. They pair with the Atrium A22K controller, which supports DESFire credentials to reduce the risk of card cloning.

How far do CDVI gate transmitters reach?

The TX26-E4 four-channel transmitter has a range of up to 250m in open field, and walls, trees and metal gates shorten it in practice. It works with CDVI 433.92MHz receivers, and its KeeLoq rolling code protects the signal from interception. A receiver such as the RX26-Z2 has two relays, stores 85 transmitter channels and sits in an IP65 housing for outdoor gates.
