Choosing DMX Controllers & Accessories

Controller size

The QTX 154.100UK is a 24 channel mini controller running on 12V DC, for a small event. The 154.093UK and 154.103UK are 192 channel controllers handling 12 fixtures, the 154.093UK with 16 faders and MIDI. The 154.105UK controls 512 channels with RDM and a USB backup, in a metal chassis.

To choose, total the channels your fixtures need in the modes they will run in, then leave a margin for more. The 154.110UK dimmer pack has a pulse feature that keeps lamp filaments warm, while a relay pack such as the 154.111UK switches power fully on and off, which QTX recommends for low-voltage LED effects that turn on and off randomly on a dimmer pack's pulse voltage.
