Texecom Sensors

Texecom sensors here cover shock detection for doors, windows and walls, door contacts and PIR motion detectors, in wired and Ricochet wireless versions. The Impaq S and Impaq SC ranges use VIBER accelerometer technology, the Micro Shock-W is an ultra-miniature wireless shock sensor, and PIRs include the AKY-0001 Capture PET detector for homes with large pets and the GBW-0001 Premier External TD-W for outdoor areas.

Decide what you need to catch, an attempt on a door, window or wall, or movement in a room or outside, then choose wired or wireless.

Wired shock sensors

Impaq S sensors such as the AEJ-0001, AEJ-0002 and AEJ-0003 detect in three dimensions, so they can be mounted in any orientation, and have 5 selectable digital sensitivity settings for materials such as window frames and concrete. The AEJ-0014 black version has a detection range of 2m diameter on wood and 1m on concrete, and the AEL-0001 Impaq S G3 is certified to EN 50131-2-8 Grade 3.

Shock and contact in one

Impaq SC sensors add a magnetic contact to the shock sensor. The AEK-0002 and AEK-0003 are wired, in brown and anthracite, and are rated EN50131-2-6 Grade 2 alongside EN50131-2-8 Grade 2. The Ricochet Impaq SC-W GJA-0005 is wireless, lets the magnet sit on either side of the device and adds a roller shutter input for partly open protection, with a 3 year typical battery life.

Micro Shock-W and Micro contact

The GHC-0002 and GHC-0003 Micro Shock-W measure 57mm x 27.5mm x 8.2mm, run on a single CR2450 coin cell for a 3 year typical battery life and are EN50131-2-8 Grade 2 compliant. The GHA-0014 Ricochet Micro door contact is designed to be concealed within most uPVC doors and window frames, with a 4 year typical battery life.

PIR motion detectors

The AKY-0001 Capture PET has a dual element pyro sensor with 15m, 90° volumetric coverage and an adjustable mounting height. The GDB-0001 is a wireless quad element 20m PIR with an optional PetWise mode, rated EN50131-2-2 Grade 2. Outdoors, the GBW-0001 covers 12m, adjustable to 8, 5 and 2m.
