Ajax alarm hubs

The 22920.40.WH1 is the Ajax Hub 2, a control panel that supports photo verification of alarms and connects over Ethernet and two SIM cards; it handles up to 100 wireless Ajax devices, 50 users and 25 IP cameras or DVRs. The 34721.108.WH1 has Ethernet and two 4G SIM cards and runs for up to 16 hours on its backup battery. The 160810.362.WH1 and 160811.362.BL1 add Wi-Fi to Ethernet and two SIM cards.

Hybrid panels for larger sites

The 160815.366.NC, 160816.384.WH1 and 160817.384.BL1 are hybrid control panels that merge wired and wireless Ajax devices, supporting up to 999 wired and wireless devices, and comply with Grade 3. The 143575.111.BL1 and 143576.111.WH1 are hybrid panels that connect via Ethernet and two SIM cards (2G).

Smart home control panels

The CIE Group KS41-R2-EU HyPanel Lite is a wall-mounted home automation panel with a 3.27" touchscreen, an integrated ZigBee 3.0 gateway, door intercom functions and built-in Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Ethernet. The KS53-R2-EU HyPanel KeyPlus combines Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, ZigBee 3.0 and Ethernet. The Dahua DHI-SCP3022A-B and DHI-SCP3022B-IBZ run Android 14 on a 7" touchscreen and support IP, Wi-Fi and IP 2-wire connections.

Power, batteries and mounting

Ajax PSU boards replace the mains supply inside a hub so it can run from a low-voltage battery, such as a vehicle or portable battery. Replacement batteries include a 3.7 V 3000 mAh pack for Hub 2 and Hub 2 Plus and a 3.7 V 2000 mAh pack, and the 121874.313.NC is a 7.2 V 95 Ah primary lithium pack for the Hub BP that must not be recharged. The 9626.01.BL and 9627.01.WH SmartBrackets mount a hub without opening its enclosure.

Which Ajax hubs support photo verification?

The Hub 2 (22920.40.WH1), the 34721.108.WH1 and the 160810.362.WH1 and 160811.362.BL1 smart hubs support photo verification of alarms. When someone enters a protected room, the Hub 2 sends photos from MotionCam and MotionCam Outdoor detectors and notifies a security company patrol. The 143575.111.BL1 and 143576.111.WH1 hybrid panels support it too, and work with Fibra and Jeweller devices.

How long does an Ajax hub run on its backup battery?

The 34721.108.WH1 control panel runs for up to 16 hours on its backup battery. For the Hub 2 and Hub 2 Plus, the 3.7 V 3000 mAh replacement battery gives a typical runtime of around 15 hours, though the real figure can vary with how the hub is configured and how much it communicates. Check whether your hub uses the 3-pin connector before replacing its battery.

Can an Ajax hub run without mains power?

Yes, once a low-voltage PSU board is fitted in place of its mains supply. The Ajax 6V PSU can go inside a Hub 2, Hub 2 Plus or ReX 2 and runs it from an external battery, which suits vacant properties, construction sites and temporary installations. The 12V PSU can do the same for a Hub, Hub Plus or ReX. Fitting either board is a job for a qualified installer.

Which panels here work as a ZigBee gateway?

The CIE Group KS41-R2-EU and KS53-R2-EU HyPanels have ZigBee 3.0 built in. The KS41-R2-EU uses it to talk to ZigBee lights, sensors, locks and thermostats, has a 3.27" touchscreen and also works as a door intercom, with proximity, light, temperature and humidity sensors for automation. The KS53-R2-EU pairs ZigBee with Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3 and Ethernet.

What does the Dahua smart control panel do?

The DHI-SCP3022A-B and DHI-SCP3022B-IBZ are 7" touchscreen panels running Android 14 that let residents receive published information, call a lift to their floor, leave videos and set a do-not-disturb period. The two panels have built-in temperature and humidity detectors and a light sensor that adjusts screen brightness. The DHI-SCP3022B-IBZ adds removable buttons and compatibility with hearing loop systems.

How is an Ajax hub mounted?

On a SmartBracket, which fixes a hub to a wall or into a corner without opening the enclosure. The black 9626.01.BL for Hub and Hub Plus measures 163 × 163 × 36 mm and is typically supplied with screws, fixings and double-sided tape, while the white 9627.01.WH supports the hub tamper switch, so removing the hub from its bracket can be detected.
