Pendant Caps & Mounts

Pendant caps and mounts hang a dome or fixed camera from a ceiling, bracket or pipe, using a threaded pendant kit or a cap adapter made for the camera model. Choosing Pendant Caps & Mounts

Start with the camera the part has to carry, then choose indoor or outdoor use and the thread.

Axis pendant kits

The Axis 01159-001 and 01185-001 indoor pendant kits enable the use of Axis mounting products featuring a 1.5" NPS thread. The 01513-001 is an indoor/outdoor pendant kit that allows AXIS P3717-PLE and P3719-PLE cameras to be mounted on poles, parapets and outer corners. The 03232-001 and 03233-001 are mounting adapters for the AXIS P3747-PLVE and P3748-PLVE, compatible with 1.5-inch NPS thread, and the 03233-001 adds a weathershield for outdoor use.

Marine-grade stainless steel

The Axis 02988-001 and 02989-001 are marine grade stainless steel pendant kits, corrosion resistant to seawater and chemicals and compatible with the AXIS P3268-SLVE, AXIS Q3538-SLVE and AXIS TQ3003-SE Wall Mount; the 02989-001 provides additional weather protection. The Axis 03214-001 (TQ3105-SE) is made of marine-grade, electropolished SUS 316L stainless steel for indoor and outdoor use.

Bosch pendant interface plates

The Bosch F.01U.391.132, F.01U.394.000 and F.01U.389.607 are camera-specific pendant interface plates for Bosch's universal accessories, with a modular design and a weather resistant finish. The F.01U.324.951 is the pendant interface plate for the outdoor FLEXIDOME IP 4/5000i, with a vandal resistant design, and the F.01U.329.708 is for the indoor FLEXIDOME IP 4/5000i. The F.01U.391.133 is a Bosch pendant cap.

Hanwha Vision hanging mounts and cap adapters

The Hanwha Vision SBP-315HMW is an aluminium cap adapter for the PNM-9084RQZ and PNM-9085RQZ, and the SBP250HMW hanging cap is for the PNM-9084QZ, PNM-9084QZ1, PNM-C16083RVQ and PNM-C32083RVQ, with a PF 1 1/2" male thread and a TR20 mounting screw. The SBP-300HMW7 is an aluminium hanging mount measuring Ø120.0 x 51.5mm with a PF 1 1/2" mount screw size, and the SBP-180HMW1 has an aluminium core, a white plastic cap and a TR20 mount screw.

How does a ceiling pendant mount fit a camera?

It hangs the camera below the ceiling on a pendant kit made for that camera series. The Axis 02107-001 is an indoor and outdoor pendant kit for mounting AXIS Q38 Series cameras in a ceiling application, and the 02108-001 is an indoor pendant kit for P38 and Q38 Series cameras. The camera and wall mount are not included with either kit.

Which cameras fit a hanging mount?

Check that the mount suits your camera model, because a hanging mount is made for named cameras and brackets. The Hanwha Vision SBP-122HM can be used with cameras including the QNV-7010R, QND-7080R and SND-6011R, and with SBP-300CM, 300LM and 300WM brackets. The SBP-300HM7 suits cameras including the QND-6010R and SND-L6013R.

Which pendant kits fit a 1.5-inch NPS thread?

Pendant kits made for 1.5-inch NPS threaded mounts and brackets fit it, and some also take a smaller pipe with a nut for the pipe thread. The Axis 01159-001 and 01185-001 indoor pendant kits enable Axis mounting products with a 1.5" NPS thread and can also take 3/4" pipes with a pipe-thread nut, and the 5505-091 mounts the camera on 1.5" NPS threaded brackets. The Hanwha Vision SBP250HMW uses a PF 1 1/2" male thread instead.

Why choose a stainless steel pendant mount?

Choose one for marine or chemical environments, because marine-grade stainless steel resists corrosion from seawater and chemicals. The Axis 03214-001 pendant mount is made of marine-grade, electropolished SUS 316L stainless steel and resists marine environments and most chemicals. The Axis 02988-001 and 02989-001 are marine grade stainless steel pendant kits, and the 02989-001 adds weather protection.

Can a pendant mount be used outdoors?

Yes, where the kit is made for it. The Axis 5505-091 is an outdoor-ready pendant kit with a black inside coating for reduced reflections, the 02548-001 and 02855-001 are outdoor-ready with improved weather protection for selected AXIS M32 and P32 cameras, and the 03233-001 has a weathershield for outdoor use. The Axis 01159-001, 01185-001 and 02108-001 are indoor pendant kits.
