Hikvision 4K NVRs

A Hikvision NVR is the head end of an IP system: it powers the cameras over its own PoE ports, records them, and is where retention is actually decided.

Channel counts run from 4 to 32, with matching PoE port counts so a small system needs no separate switch. AcuSense models classify people and vehicles at the recorder, which is what removes the alerts caused by rain and foliage. Drive capacity runs from a single SATA bay to four, and 4K HDMI output drives a control-room monitor directly. Larger DeepinMind units add on-board AI for search and behaviour analysis.

Specify the drives with the recorder — see CCTV Hard Drives & Storage. For the cameras see Hikvision Cameras, for analogue systems Digital Video Recorders, and for the display CCTV Monitors.
