Hikvision Outdoor CCTV Cameras

This page collects Hikvision CCTV cameras chosen for their weather rating, and most of them are rated IP67 for water and dust resistance. The range includes bullet, turret, dome, PTZ, fisheye and thermal bodies in Turbo HD and IP versions, with ColorVu, AcuSense, DarkFighter and DeepinView models among them. Some carry IP66 or IP68 instead, so read the rating of the exact camera before you fit it somewhere exposed.

Choosing Hikvision Outdoor CCTV Cameras

Check the stated rating first, then pick the body style, the video type and the night imaging.

Reading the rating

Most cameras here are rated IP67, and many pair it with IK10 for vandal resistance, as the DS-2CD3146G2-ISU (2.8mm)(H) fixed dome does. Most of the exceptions carry another rating: the DS-2DE5425IW-AE(T5) PTZ camera is rated IP66, while the DS-2XC6745G0-IZHS anti-corrosion dome and the DS-2XE6146F-HS(2.8MM)(C) explosion-proof dome are rated IP68.

Body style

The DS-2CE78U1T-IT3F is an 8.29 MP (4K) turret with Smart EXIR to 60 m and a 2.8 mm lens. Fisheye cameras such as the DS-2CD63C5G1-IVS use a 1.29 mm lens with dewarping modes to cover a wide scene from one point, and this one also counts people and draws heatmaps. PTZ cameras pan, tilt and zoom on command: the DS-2DT6232X-AELY(T5) has 32× optical zoom in a SUS316L stainless steel body rated IP67, IK10 and NEMA 4X.

Turbo HD or IP

Turbo HD cameras run on coax to a DVR, and the DS-2CE78U1T-IT3F has switchable TVI, AHD, CVI and CVBS outputs for recorder compatibility. IP cameras connect to an NVR over a network cable; the iDS-2CD7547G0/P-XZHSY is a DeepinView ANPR dome with a 2.8-12mm varifocal lens and IP67 and IK10 ratings.

Night imaging

Infrared cameras switch to black and white after dark, while ColorVu cameras add white light to keep the picture in colour. The DS-2CE72KF3T-LSYE turret offers both, with selectable white light and IR, and the DS-2XS2T47G1-LDH/4G/C18S40 is a solar ColorVu kit with a built-in battery and 4G for sites with no mains supply.
