Compare the recorder with the inside of the box. The DVRBOX gives 507 × 510 × 155 mm inside and the DVRBOX/PRO 506 × 560 × 160 mm, while the DVRBOX/LITE measures 445 × 404 × 120 mm outside and is compatible with various small NVRs and DVRs. The fan-cooled enclosure is 510 × 540 × 124 mm outside.

Choose a fan-cooled DVR enclosure when the recorder needs active cooling inside a closed box, as its fans expel hot air and reduce the risk of overheating. Haydon's fan-cooled enclosure has two 12V fans and a vented design with front access, and it measures 510 × 540 × 124 mm externally. It is made from powder-coated steel with an anti-drill radial lock.

Fit a replacement lock and key set made for the enclosure, which replaces the lock cylinder and supplies new matching keys. Haydon's replacement set (DVRLOCK, part HAY-LDVE/LOCK) contains one lock cylinder and two matching keys for Haydon LDVR-series enclosures. It is a spare part for repairs, maintenance or lost keys; follow Haydon's official instructions when fitting it.

A lockable DVR box holds the recorder inside a locked enclosure, which helps protect it against tampering. Haydon's enclosures are powder-coated steel: the DVRBOX/LITE has an anti-drill radial lock, and the DVRBOX/PRO a radial lock with an interlocking hooked cam. If a key is lost, the HAY-LDVE/LOCK replaces the lock and supplies two matching keys.

Recorder accessories are add-ons for a DVR or NVR, such as lockable enclosures that keep the recorder secure and replacement locks for them. Haydon's DVRBOX, DVRBOX/LITE and DVRBOX/PRO are vented powder-coated steel boxes, and the DVRBOX/PRO has a removable lid. The fan-cooled enclosure adds two 12V fans that expel hot air, and the HAY-LDVE/LOCK is the replacement lock and key set for Haydon LDVR-series enclosures.
