Pyronix Contact Sensors

A door contact sensor is the simplest part of an alarm and the one most systems have most of: a magnet on the door, a transmitter on the frame, and an alarm the moment the two separate.

These are Pyronix wireless contacts on the 868MHz Enforcer radio, so they pair straight to an Enforcer panel with no cable run. The range covers a nano contact small enough not to be noticed on a domestic door and graded to EN50131 Grade 2, an external contact rated IP66 for gates, outbuildings and shutters, and a combined magnetic contact and shock sensor that also detects an attempt to force the door rather than only its opening.

Contacts report to a panel — see Pyronix Enforcer Kits and Alarm Panels. For contacts and detectors on other systems see Smart Alarms & Sensors. Gap distance, frequency and grading are stated on each product page.
