CDVI Door Loops

Choose a loop by its length, by how exposed the door is, and by whether the loop should be visible.

Lengths

The FLEX is a 30cm door loop, the GF45 a 45cm loop, and the FLEX60 and GF60 are 60cm loops. The GFI concealed loop is a 29cm loop. Measure the gap the cable has to bridge between frame and leaf before choosing a length.

Internal diameter

The internal diameter decides which cables pass through the loop. The GF60 has an internal diameter of about 9 mm, which fits typical lock, intercom and control cables, and an external loop diameter of about 13 mm. The FLEX has a 7mm minimum internal diameter, which is sufficient for the most common cables used in door locking and control, and the FLEX60 also has a 7mm internal diameter.

External doors and vandal resistance

The GF60 is a stainless-steel armoured loop for external doors, made for high-security or harsh environments. It has Diax anti-vandal fixings and robust end caps in Zamak or cast aluminium, mounts on the surface for straightforward installation, and weighs about 0.26 kg. The FLEX and FLEX60 are economical and vandal resistant, and the FLEX60 has cast aluminium ends with concealed fixings.

Traditional and concealed

The GF45 is the traditional loop of the GF range, with square aluminium ends and four fixing holes per end. The GFI is mounted in the hinge line of the door, so it is completely hidden when the door is in the closed position.
