Coloured & Black Nickel Finishes

This collection holds Knightsbridge black nickel accessories for sockets, spurs and switches. They include the SFR7000BN 13A double pole switched socket, the SF6300BN 13A switched fused spur, the SF8909BN shaver socket with USB-A and USB-C, the GDM001BN 20AX Grid switch module, and the GDFRIDBN and GDWASTEBN marked rocker covers for appliance switches.

The SFR7000BN switched socket and the SF6300BN fused spur need a mounting box at least 25mm deep, and the SF8909BN shaver socket needs one at least 47mm deep. The GDM001BN Grid module clips into a mounting frame that is sold separately, so plan the frame and its box together before the plaster goes on.

A double pole switch breaks the live and the neutral connection together when it is turned off, rather than the live alone. The Knightsbridge SFR7000BN is a 13A single socket with a double pole switch, twin earth terminals and a black insert behind a screwless black nickel plate with a built-in gasket.

Yes, the SF8909BN has a USB Type-A and a USB Type-C port that share 5V DC 2.4A, alongside a single voltage 230V shaver outlet rated 20VA. It is rated IP41 for protection against splashes, certified to EN 61558, and needs a mounting box at least 47mm deep.

They label a switch so you can tell which appliance it controls. The Knightsbridge GDFRIDBN reads FRIDGE FREEZER and the GDWASTEBN reads WASTE DISPOSAL, both in black nickel, and each replaces an existing rocker cover. Knightsbridge gives other designations such as washing machine and dishwasher as examples, and both covers are ABS and steel, rated IP20.
