TV Wall Mounts & Brackets

TV wall mounts and brackets hold a flat screen on a wall, ceiling or pole: fixed flat, tilted, or on an arm that pulls out and turns. This page gathers brackets for many screen sizes: small monitor mounts, ultra slim fixed brackets for large VESA 800 TVs, tilting, full motion, ceiling, pole and portrait anti-theft mounts, and System X interface arms for rail-mounted displays.

Choosing TV Wall Mounts & Brackets

Check the screen’s VESA pattern, weight and size against the bracket, then decide how far it must move.

Fixed and slim

A fixed bracket keeps the screen closest to the wall. The AV:Link 129.532UK sits only 19mm from the mounting surface and suits most 32" to 65" TVs, while the 129.157UK takes VESA 800 TVs up to 100" at 22mm, with a maximum weight load of 60kg. The B-Tech BT7510/B holds a small flat screen just 15mm off the wall, with a 20kg maximum load and a security locking screw.

Tilting

Tilt angles the picture down when the screen hangs high. The 129.326UK adds up to 12° of tilt at 26mm from the surface, and the 129.166UK has a boxed design with room behind the TV for media players. The B-Tech BT8431/B uses a Torsion-Tilt mechanism for tool-less adjustment of up to +/-15°.

Full motion arms

Arms pull the screen out and turn it. The 129.561UK double arm bracket takes flat or curved 32" to 75" TVs up to 45kg, with 90° pan from the wall plate. The 129.569UK carries up to 70kg on VESA 800 x 600, and the 129.568UK has a larger wall fixing plate for studded and concrete walls. The B-Tech BT7514/PB single arm folds flat to the wall when not in use.

Ceiling, pole and portrait

The 129.574UK ceiling mount has a 1.5m extended pole for large drops, and the 129.524UK fits a 35mm pole with a -85° to 15° tilt range. For portrait signage, the 129.160UK fixed vertical bracket can be locked against theft, with the padlock not included, and the B-Tech BT8390-VESA400F/B arms hang screens on System X horizontal rails.

AV:Link makes most of the brackets on this page, with B-Tech mounts alongside.

Frequently asked questions

How do I know a bracket will hold my TV?

Compare three figures: the VESA hole pattern on the back of the TV, its weight and its screen size. The 129.533UK, for example, is VESA compatible up to 600x400, carries a maximum weight load of 35kg and suits most 32" to 75" TVs, while the B-Tech BT8441 accepts mounting patterns up to 455 x 400mm and weights up to 80kg. If any figure is over the stated limit, choose a larger bracket.

Can I wall mount a curved TV?

Yes, the 129.561UK full motion double arm bracket has a special angle adjustable mount that accommodates both flat and curved screens. The 129.561UK suits 32" to 75" TVs up to 45kg with VESA patterns up to 600x400mm, gives -2° to 12° tilt, 90° pan from the wall plate and 45° swivel at the arm joint, and has an integrated cable management system.

Where can a streaming box go when the TV is on the wall?

Behind the screen, on a bracket built with space for it. The 129.166UK tilting bracket has a boxed design that leaves space behind the TV for media players, streaming and storage devices up to 45mm deep, and its open architecture adds ventilation and easier access to ports and cables. The 129.166UK suits most 37" to 70" TVs and has thumbscrews for tilt adjustment.

Is there a lockable TV bracket for a public space?

Yes, the 129.160UK fixed vertical anti-theft bracket has a lockable design that prevents TV removal or theft, though the padlock is not included. The 129.160UK holds portrait screens up to 75" and 75kg, for places such as bars, retail and transport. The B-Tech BT7518/B and BT8441 come with security locking screws and an Allen key to deter unauthorised removal.

Can a TV hang from the ceiling?

Yes, with a ceiling mount such as the 129.573UK, which suits 26" to 60" screens, carries a maximum weight load of 30kg with a maximum VESA of 400x400, and has swivel and tilt adjustments. For a longer drop, the 129.574UK has a 1.5m extended pole and fits VESA sizes from 200x200 to 600x400. The pair suit commercial installations.

Can a screen go on a pole instead of a wall?

Yes, several B-Tech mounts work with B-Tech poles and accessory collars, including the BT7511/B, BT7512/PB and BT8432/B, and the BT8441 is collar compatible for pole mounting. The AV:Link 129.524UK fits a 35mm pole, holds a 17" to 30" screen and allows 360° screen rotation. The poles and collars themselves are in B-Tech pole mounts.
