C-TEC Fire Panels

Decide between conventional and addressable, then match the protocol and the number of loops.

Conventional: FP4

The FF384-2/C-TEC is an FP4 4 zone conventional fire panel in a robust metal enclosure with a lift off lid. It has four conventional zone circuits, expandable to 6, and two conventional sounder circuits, with separate indicators for open and short circuit fault, sounder fault and battery or power supply fault. A short circuit = fire facility, for pre-1980 BS call points with no resistors, can be selected zone by zone, and the panel works with a wide range of conventional detectors, including C-TEC's ActiV range.

Addressable: XFP

The XFP501/X single loop and XFP502/X 2-loop panels work with Apollo's XP95/Discovery protocol, the XFP502/H with Hochiki's protocol, and the XFP502/CA with the CAST protocol. The XFP502/CA supports up to 255 devices per loop on two independent 40V loop drivers. The XFP501/X and XFP502/X are LPCB certified to EN54 parts 2 and 4, and the XFP502/CA is certified to EN54-2/4 and EN54-13. The XFP501/X, XFP502/H and XFP501E/H can sit on a network of up to 8 master panels. The XFP501E/H has a flush or surface mountable plastic enclosure and works with C-TEC's Hush Button solution.

Addressable: ZFP

The ZFP2/20/X and ZFP2/CA are touchscreen-controlled addressable panels with rapid loop learning. The ZFP2/20/X supports two loops and up to 20 zones with Apollo XP95/Discovery compatible loop drivers, and offers a fault-tolerant RS485 networking option for up to 128 network nodes. The ZFP2/CA, certified to EN54 parts 2, 4 and 13, has a touchscreen control module, a blank module and a 5A EN54-4 PSU.

Keys and network cards

The S-KEY is a red polycarbonate key that gives authorised users access to a fire panel's authorised user controls on CFP panels. The ECU722 is a network interface card from the SigTEL range: one card is needed per networked SigTEL controller, and up to 14 controllers can be interlinked for systems of up to 224 lines.
