Begin with the system the product must join, because C-TEC devices are built around its own panels, protocols and call systems.

Fire panels

The XFP range is addressable: the XFP501/CA is a 1-loop, 32-zone panel for CAST devices, and the XFP502/H is a 2-loop panel for the Hochiki protocol. The ZFP4/CA is a 4 loop 5A CAST panel, and the ZFP2/CA is touchscreen controlled and certified to EN54 parts 2, 4 and 13. For conventional systems, the CFP708-4 has 8 zones and the CFP704-2 is a two-wire panel for Apollo AlarmSense devices.

CAST and ActiV devices

CAST is C-TEC's own addressable protocol. The CA414 multisensor detector and the CA470 resettable call point are made for XFP and ZFP CAST panels, and each has a short circuit loop isolator. ActiV devices include the C4414 optical and heat detector, and the BF430C/CC/DR/65 weatherproof wall sounder serves conventional systems. The LAP501/CA is a lockdown panel that broadcasts a message through CAST lockdown sounders.

Power and door holders

The BF562-5 power supply runs devices such as beam detectors, communicators and vent systems that perform a fire alarm function, and it can be set up with the BF423 configurator. The BF345-2H is a 240V AC electromagnetic door holder.

Communication, nurse call and hearing loops

The SigTEL ECU-8 is an 8-line master controller for refuge and fire telephone outstations, such as the EVC302F hands-free Type B outstation. The NC944 is a four zone 800 Series nurse call controller, the QT634 chair exit mat works with the Quantec system, and the NC951/SS is a stainless steel toilet alarm kit. The AKM3 induction loop kit covers meeting and seminar rooms up to 200m2.
