About this product
The C-TEC C4403A1R ActiV is an A1R heat detector: a Type A1R static and rate-of-rise heat detector, third-party certified to EN54-5 by Intertek and manufactured by C-TEC in the UK.
It generates an alarm when it detects a sudden rise in temperature, or a static temperature between 54°C and 65°C. It runs from 9 to 33V DC on 2-wire monitored, polarity-sensitive wiring, and two ultra-bright red LED strips give 360° visibility.
It fits the ActiV C4408D diode, C4408 non-diode and C4408R relay bases.
