Hikvision Intercom

Hikvision intercom links a door station outside with an indoor station on the wall for video door entry. IP or 2-wire

IP systems run over network cable: the DS-KIS604-P(C) kit pairs a 2 MP door station with a 7-inch touch indoor station and uses standard PoE. 2-wire kits suit a retrofit: the DS-KIS704EY puts an IP65/IK08 aluminium door station, a 7" capacitive touch monitor and a 2-wire distributor in one kit, and the distributor provides a 48 V channel supply.

Door stations

The DS-KV6113-WPE1(C) is a surface-mount villa door station with a 2 MP wide-angle camera, IR illumination and a built-in MIFARE card reader, and the DS-KV8113-WME1(C) is a flush-mount version with Wi-Fi and PoE. The DS-KD9633-WBE6 has a 10.1-inch screen and supports face recognition, fingerprints, card, PIN, Bluetooth and QR codes, with an IP65 rating. Frames such as the DS-KD-ACF2/Black finish modular door stations for flush mounting.

Indoor stations and control panels

The DS-KH8350-TE1 is a 7" indoor station with PoE or 12 VDC power, 8 alarm inputs, 2 alarm outputs, 2 lock relays and RS-485, and the DS-KH8520-WTE1 adds Wi-Fi and live video from linked cameras. On a 2-wire system, the DS-KH7300EY-WTE2 is powered from a 2-wire distributor and has Wi-Fi for the Hik-Connect app. The DS-KC9570-WTE1/S 9 Series control panel manages lighting, curtains, HVAC, intercom, alarms and network cameras from a 10.1" touch display.

Cards, power and licences

The IC-S50 is a MIFARE S50 contactless card to ISO/IEC 14443A, made for intercom systems that use MIFARE. The HC-Intercom/1Room/1Y licence adds one room to Hik-Connect or HikCentral Connect for 12 months, and the HC-Intercom/1Room/Lifetime licence is the perpetual version.

Can I answer the door from my phone?

Yes, through the Hik-Connect app on stations that support it. The DS-KH8520-WTE1 indoor station allows remote unlocking through client software or mobile apps, and the DS-KIS604-S(C) kit has Hik-Connect app mobile control. For managed sites, the HC-Intercom/1Room/1Y licence enables app calling and remote door opening for one room for 12 months.

Can the door station also read access cards?

Yes, several door stations have a built-in reader. The DS-KV6113-WPE1(C) and DS-KV8113-WME1(C) have an integrated MIFARE card reader with capacity for up to 10,000 cards, and the DS-KD9633-WBE6 adds face recognition, fingerprint, PIN, Bluetooth and QR code entry. IC-S50 MIFARE S50 contactless cards are made for intercom systems that use MIFARE technology.
