TOA Speakers
TOA speakers on this page are built for public address and paging. The range includes weatherproof horn speakers for announcements indoors and out, an IP horn powered over PoE, a flush-mount ceiling speaker for background music, a slim column speaker for halls, and the SP-131 brackets that fix horn speakers to a vertical pole. Most work on 100 V line systems, and the CS-154BS horn is the version certified to EN54-24 for voice alarm.

Choosing TOA Speakers
Start with the system the speaker joins, a 100 V line amplifier or a network, then choose a body for the space: a horn to project, a ceiling speaker for even background sound or a column for a hall.
Horn speakers for paging
The SC-615M is a 15 W horn optimised for clear speech intelligibility in large or noisy areas, with a shock-resistant aluminium oval horn, IP65 rating and a panel-mounted impedance selector for 70/100 V lines. The SC-630M has a 30 W rated input and a sensitivity of about 113 dB at 1 W, 1 m. The CS-154 is a 15 W weatherproof horn whose constant-directivity horn gives about 90° of horizontal coverage, and the CS-154BS is the voice alarm variant, certified to EN54-24.
IP horn speaker
The IP-A1SC15 is a network horn powered by PoE+ (IEEE802.3at Class 4) or PoE (IEEE802.3af Class 3). It has a 15 W amplifier output, 112 dB sensitivity at 1 W, 1 m and a 124 dB maximum SPL, and supports TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP and SIP for announcements and alerts.
Ceiling and column speakers
The PC-1868W-EB is a low-profile, flush-mount ceiling speaker for background music and paging, with a 12 cm full-range driver, a 6 W rated input with multiple transformer taps on 100 V lines and spring-catch mounting into a ceiling cut-out of about 150 mm. The TZ-50-EB slim metal column speaker takes 50 W, with 100 V taps of 50, 25 and 12.5 W or a 20 Ω option, and is rated IP55; its narrow vertical dispersion improves speech intelligibility in rooms with floor-to-ceiling reflections.
Pole mounting
The SP-131 is a pair of SUS304 stainless steel brackets for fixing horn or wide-range horn speakers to a vertical pole, supplied with M10 × 25 and M8 × 20 bolt sets. Pole bands to secure them are sold separately.

Frequently asked questions
What is an EN54-24 horn speaker?
A horn loudspeaker certified to EN 54-24, the standard for loudspeakers used in voice alarm systems. The TOA CS-154BS is the voice-alarm certified version of the 15 W CS-154 weatherproof horn, with a built-in 70.7/100 V multi-tap transformer and about 90° horizontal coverage. The CS-154BS is rated IP65 and operates from −20 °C to +55 °C.
How do 100V line taps work on a speaker?
The speaker's transformer has power taps, and the tap you choose sets how much power it draws from the 100 V line. The TOA CS-154 has an internal 70.7/100 V line transformer with screwdriver-adjustable power taps, the TZ-50-EB has selectable 100 V taps of 50, 25 and 12.5 W, and the SC-615M has a panel-mounted impedance selector.
What is a TOA speaker used for?
Public address and paging, with background music on some models. The SC-630M is a paging horn for outdoor site paging, car parks, factories and public-address voice evacuation systems, and the IP-A1SC15 IP horn is suitable for announcements and alerts. The PC-1868W-EB ceiling speaker handles background music and paging in commercial and public spaces, and the CS-154BS is the certified variant for voice alarm systems.
What types of TOA speakers are there?
Paging horns, PoE-powered IP horns and ceiling speakers, wall cabinet speakers and slim column speakers for public address and paging. The TOA SC-615M, SC-630M and CS-154 are weatherproof horn speakers for 100 V line systems, and the IP-A1SC15 horn is powered over PoE. The PC-1868W-EB is a flush-mount ceiling speaker, and the TZ-50-EB is a slim metal column speaker rated IP55.
How does a horn speaker pole mount work?
A pair of pole brackets bolts to the speaker's mounting lugs and is then strapped to a vertical pole with pole bands. The TOA SP-131 is a pair of SUS304 stainless steel brackets supplied with M10 × 25 and M8 × 20 bolt sets, and its YS-60B pole bands are sold separately. For sites exposed to strong wind or vibration, the SP-131 mounts should be reinforced and inspected periodically.
