Duracell AAA Batteries

Plus Power 656.941UK or Simply 656.953UK, since Duracell names remote controls among the uses of both. Simply 656.953UK is described for low to moderate drain devices such as radios, remotes and clocks. Plus Power 656.941UK adds DURALOCK technology and a stated shelf life of up to 10 years, which helps if the spare pack will sit unused for a while.

Up to 10 years for Plus Power 656.941UK, which Duracell credits to its DURALOCK technology. The Simply 656.953UK and Procell Constant 656.976UK listings do not state a shelf life, so if you are buying spares to keep for a long time, the Plus Power pack is the one with a stated storage figure.

Procell Constant 656.976UK is Duracell's professional AAA battery: an alkaline manganese cell rated 1.5V and 1222mAh, engineered for low-drain applications. It is bulk packed in a box of 10, which helps to reduce packaging costs, and it is aimed at professional users and production lines rather than a single household device.

All of them are alkaline: Plus Power and Simply are sold as alkaline batteries, and Procell Constant 656.976UK is an alkaline manganese cell. None of the AAA listings on this page describes a lithium or rechargeable version, so fit them where the device takes standard AAA alkaline cells.

Simply 656.953UK and Procell Constant 656.976UK are the two described for lower-drain use: Simply for low to moderate drain devices such as radios, remotes and clocks, and Procell Constant for low-drain professional applications. Plus Power 656.941UK is described more broadly, for everyday devices including motorised toys, CD players and toothbrushes.
