B-Tech ceiling mounts hang flat screens, projectors and CCTV equipment from the ceiling on a fixed or adjustable drop. Choosing B-Tech Ceiling Mounts
Choose the mount by what it will carry and how much it weighs, then pick the drop that brings it to the right height.
Flat screens
The BT8424-200/B holds one screen up to 50kg in landscape or portrait, with B-Tech's Torsion-Tilt mechanism for tilt of up to +/-15°, and the BT8424 is made in 1m, 1.5m, 2m and 3m drops. The BT8428-100/B mounts two screens back-to-back. The BT7553-150/BB takes screens up to 23kg and switches between landscape and portrait without tools, and it can also be fitted to the floor or a desktop. For screens over 65", the twin-pole BT8448-200/BC carries up to 130kg. The BT8449-200/BB carries up to 80kg and has four tilt positions.
Projectors
Universal projectors up to 25kg go on the BT899 family. The BT899-FD300 is suitable for angled ceilings and has tilt, yaw and roll adjustment. The BT899-AD raises or lowers the projector in 25mm increments to a maximum drop of 1143mm. The heavy duty BT893-FD200 takes projectors up to 70kg and adds micro-adjustment at each corner for accurate alignment.
CCTV and System V
System V mounts hang cameras and small screens from Ø38mm poles, with cables running through the centre of the pole. The BT5920 fixed ceiling mount supports up to 75kg, the BT5921/W tilts up to 90° for angled ceilings or a wall, and the BT5925/W has a telescopic drop set in 50mm increments. Mounts made with a 1 or 2 metre drop include the BT5961-FD100/W for large dome cameras, the BT5962-FD200 for a dome camera plus a small flat screen, and the BT5971-FD200/W for screens up to 28"/20kg.
Signage and floor-to-ceiling
The BT8325/B is designed to ceiling mount a Samsung 55" double-sided signage display in portrait, for shop front windows. The BT8702B display stand mounts screens floor to ceiling and bolts to the floor with integrated cable management.

How heavy a screen can a B-Tech ceiling mount hold?
The twin-pole BT8448 has the highest load rating on this page, 130kg, for screens over 65". Lighter mounts are rated lower: the BT7553-200/BB takes screens up to 23kg, the BT8424-300/B up to 50kg and the BT8427 up to 70kg. Check the weight of your screen, and of anything fixed to it, against the rating of the exact mount.
Which B-Tech mount suits my projector?
Match the mount to the projector weight first. The BT899-FD200/BB is designed for universal projectors up to 25kg, and the BT893-FD050 heavy duty mount takes up to 70kg with an adjustable ceiling plate for angled ceilings. If you need to set the height on site, the BT899-AD adjusts in 25mm increments to a maximum drop of 1143mm.
Can one ceiling mount carry a CCTV camera and a monitor?
Yes, several System V mounts are made for this. The BT5962-FD100/W holds a small to medium dome camera and a small flat screen, and the BT5963-FD100/W and BT5964-FD200 hold a dome camera with a tilted flat screen. They are made with a 1 or 2 metre drop, and cables run through the centre of the pole and out through the top or side of the ceiling mount.
How do I choose the drop length?
Measure the distance between the ceiling and the point where the top of the screen or projector should sit, then choose a fixed or adjustable drop. Fixed drops include the BT8424 in 1m, 1.5m, 2m and 3m lengths and the BT899xL-FD in pole lengths from 0.5m to 3m. The BT7851/B telescopic mount adjusts from 600mm to 1000mm in 25mm increments and the BT8420/B from 625mm to 950mm.
Can I fit a B-Tech mount to a sloping ceiling?
Yes, several models are designed for angled ceilings. The BT899-FD150 projector mount is suitable for angled ceilings and the BT893-FD200 has an adjustable ceiling plate for them, the BT5921/W System V mount tilts up to 90° so it also suits a wall, and the ceiling bracket of the BT8428-150/B back-to-back mount can be tilted for mounting on angled ceilings.
Which ceiling mounts hold a screen in portrait?
The BT7553 mounts, the BT8426 and the BT8424-200/B hold a screen in landscape or portrait. The BT7553-050/BC switches between the two without tools, using its tilt, swivel and screen rotation adjustment. For retail signage, the BT8325/B is made to ceiling mount a Samsung 55" double-sided display in a portrait orientation, with easy access to the screen's inputs.
