Choosing WD-40 Specialist Products

Start from the problem: dirty contacts, a fixing that will not turn, a part that sticks, or built-up grease.

Dirty electrical contacts

Reach for the 701.321UK Fast Drying Contact Cleaner on circuit boards, switches, printers and other delicate parts of electrical and electronic kit that are hard to access. Because it penetrates rapidly and dries quickly, it is safe for sensitive electrical equipment, and it lifts flux residue, condensation, dust, dirt and oil while leaving nothing behind.

Fixings that will not turn

The 701.323UK Fast Release Penetrant works its way into awkward spots to release fixings that have seized, stuck or rusted over time. It is recommended for nuts and bolts, screws, locks, pipes and taps. The 701.323UK is highly resistant to water and withstands temperatures of -20°C to +90°C.

Parts that stick, and metal joints

The 701.325UK Silicone Lubricant uses a high-performance silicone formula that prevents sticking and repels moisture and dirt without staining, on rubber components, high-pressure equipment, plumbing fittings, fishing reels, garage door runners and UPVC latches; the 701.325UK resists -35°C to +200°C. For metal against metal, the 701.329UK White Lithium Grease has a non-drip formula suited to load-bearing connections and to greasing tow bars, water pumps, car door hinges and bearings, and the 701.329UK covers -18°C to +145°C.

Built-up grease

The 701.327UK Fast Acting Degreaser, a solvent-based cleaner in a 500ml can, starts working the moment it lands, shifting grime, dirt, oil and grease with no residue and rinsing away easily. Use it on metal, flooring and exhaust hoods, or on engines, hand and power tools, stainless steel hobs, chains and gear mechanisms, and industrial machinery.
