It scans with a laser and measures time of flight to create a virtual curtain, detecting movement and presence within it. The GJD505 builds curtain zones of up to 5.0 × 5.0 m and the GJD509 up to 10 m × 10 m, both with about 10 cm positional resolution. The GJD505 and GJD509 use visible alignment lasers just for setup, and their operating laser is infrared at 905 nm.

The GJD320 D-TECT 60 suits a long boundary: its dual PIR optics form a long, narrow beam, programmable to 40 m or 60 m and covering up to 60 m × 6 m. It is aimed with 180° pan and 90° tilt, and the GJD320 has a recommended mounting height of about 2.6–3.0 m. It is designed for perimeter detection on commercial and high-security sites.

Yes, the GJD260 D-TECT 3 IP uses Power over Ethernet, which allows simple integration with major VMS and camera systems. The GJD260 supports PIR and microwave detection, has a programmable detection beam range of up to 30 metres to minimise boundary overspill, and is operated through a web browser interface. It is rated IP65 for weather resistance.

The GJD142/W Pearl is an outdoor curtain detector for domestic and commercial security. The GJD142/W uses passive infrared and microwave technologies to create an invisible curtain, with a narrow PIR curtain lens and a selectable detection range of up to 12m. It is rated IP65 and measures 117mm high, 44mm wide and 41mm deep.

The GJD505 needs a 24 VDC supply, and a 3 A supply is recommended. The GJD505 is a compact laser motion detector with up to four configurable curtains for alarm and pre-alarm, is suitable for indoor or outdoor use at IP65, and supports remote programming and alignment aids for installers. The alignment lasers on the GJD505 are Class 3R while it is being aligned.
