Apollo Smoke Detectors

An Apollo smoke detector reports to a fire panel rather than sounding on its own, which is what separates a commercial system from a domestic interlinked alarm.

Two families are stocked, both optical and both to EN54-7. Discovery heads are fully addressable and run at 17-28V, so the panel identifies the individual device rather than a zone — the difference between sending someone to a floor and sending them to a room. AlarmSense heads are two-wire at 9-33V DC for smaller conventional systems. Optical sensing responds to the smouldering fires that produce visible smoke before flame.
