Entry System Accessories

Entry system accessories here are the parts that mount, protect and extend Hikvision door entry: flush and surface mounts for modular door stations, rain shields, nametag, display, induction loop and blanking modules, 2-wire distributors and table brackets for indoor stations. Mounting modular door stations

A modular door station is flush mounted into a gang box or surface mounted on a frame. The DS-KD-ACF1/Plastic, DS-KD-ACF2/PLASTIC and DS-KD-ACF3/S are flush mounts for one, two and three modules, each supplied with a gang box, cover, screws and connecting lines; the ACF3/S is stainless steel. For surface mounting, the DS-KD-ACW2/S is a stainless steel 2-module bracket with an aviation aluminium installation frame, and the DS-KD-ACW3 a 3-module aluminium frame with front cover and button cover.

Rain shields

The DS-KABD8003-RS1/S is a stainless steel rain shield for the DS-KD-ACW1/S single wall mount, and the DS-KABD8003-RS2 adapts to two-module surface mounting. The DS-KAB673-S1 is a polycarbonate hood for face recognition access control terminals mounted outdoors.

Door station modules

The DS-KD-K12 gives a KD8 series door station 12 backlit nametag call buttons over RS-485, with IP65 protection and a power draw of 2 W or less; the DS-KD-K12/S has a stainless steel front. The DS-KD-DIS display module has a 3.5 inch LCD at 320 x 480 pixels and stores up to 2000 contacts, and the DS-KD-TDM has a 4 inch IPS touch screen with PIN code and card unlock, rated IP65 and IK8. The DS-KD-PMR induction loop module sends audio directly to hearing aids, and the DS-KD-BK blanking module fills an empty grid position.

Distributors and indoor station brackets

On 2-wire HD systems, the DS-KAD7061EY is a 4 channel floor distributor for indoor stations that supports cascading and needs no power supply. Table brackets stand indoor stations on a desk: the DS-KABH8350-T is SUS430 stainless steel for KH8350-series stations, and the DS-KABH6350-T is SECC with silica-gel pads for the DS-KH6350 family.

Should I flush mount or surface mount a modular door station?

Flush mount where the wall can take a gang box, and surface mount where it cannot. The DS-KD-ACF1/Plastic, DS-KD-ACF2/PLASTIC and DS-KD-ACF3/S flush mounts come with a gang box, cover, screws and connecting lines. The DS-KD-ACW3 surface frame is for installations where flush mounting is not possible, and the DS-KD-ACW2/S is a stainless steel 2-module surface bracket.

Do I need a rain shield for an outdoor door station?

Fit one where a surface-mounted station faces the weather, because the shield protects the module from rain. The DS-KABD8003-RS1/S is a stainless steel shield for the DS-KD-ACW1/S single wall mount, and the DS-KABD8003-RS2 adapts to two-module surface mounting. For face recognition terminals, the DS-KAB673-S1 is a polycarbonate hood for outdoor mounting.

How do I add call buttons for more flats?

Add nametag modules to a KD8 series door station. The DS-KD-K12 and DS-KD-K12/S give 12 physical one-touch call buttons each and connect over RS-485, and the DS-KD-KK/S is a stainless steel nametag module powered by the DS-KD8003-IME1. The DS-KD-K12 is designed for multi-tenant door panels where visitors call individual units directly.

Can a door station help visitors with hearing aids?

Yes, the DS-KD-PMR induction loop module transmits audio directly to hearing aids through a built-in induction loop antenna. It fits KD8 and KD8003 series modular door stations, has LED indicators for calling, door unlocked and two-way audio, and is rated IP65 for outdoor use.

What does a 2-wire distributor do?

It connects several indoor stations or buildings to a 2-wire intercom line. The DS-KAD7061EY is a 4 channel floor distributor for indoor stations that supports cascading and needs no power supply. The DS-KAD7060EY is a DIN rail distributor for communication between multiple buildings, carrying power and network signals together on 2 wires.

Can an indoor station stand on a desk?

Yes, with a table bracket made for its series.
