What the kit covers

One door, one box — the outdoor panel, the indoor screen and the four-channel PoE switch that links them. Everything runs on network cable, so a single lead to each unit carries both power and picture. The A1IPKB is the black kit and the A1IPKW the white.

Letting people in

Residents let themselves in without picking up the handset — a fob held to the panel, or a code on the built-in keypad. Ten 13.56 MHz fobs come in the box and the panel holds up to 200. PIN codes are six digits. The lock output is 12 V DC with both normally-open and normally-closed contacts, so it suits either kind of lock.

Answering the door

A caller presses once and you see and speak to them on the indoor screen. The panel's camera is a 1.0MP low-illumination type covering 110° horizontally, so someone standing to one side of it is still in shot. The system announces when the door has been released, so you know the caller got inside. Calls can also be taken on a phone through the ClickSmart+ app.

The panel outside

The outdoor panel is aluminium alloy, sealed to IP65 against rain and dust. It mounts on the surface or flush.
