What you get

Eight PoE ports means eight cameras on eight network cables and no separate power supply at any of them, with 1 TB fitted.

Cameras and power

All eight camera sockets carry power as well as picture, at 30 W per port and 75 W across all of them, so each camera runs on one lead and needs nothing at the far end. It records at up to 8MP (4K).

Watching it and getting footage off

A monitor connects by HDMI or VGA. The screen divides into one, four, six, eight or nine pictures. You can play back eight channels at the same time. Footage comes off it on two USB sockets, one 2.0 and one 3.0.

Storage and fitting

Storage can go up to 8 TB in total. The box is 240 × 260 × 47 mm and weighs under 1 kg. It draws under 8 W before the drive is counted and works from -10 °C to 55 °C. ESP pairs it with the range of 24/7 HDview 5MP and 8MP and Rekor IP 2MP Cameras, and warrants it for 2 years.
