HID Signo readers are available in the following versions: 00, 01, 02, and 03:

00 – Standard Profile: the most versatile version of the HID Signo reader. It supports both older 125 kHz cards (HID Prox) and modern 13.56 MHz technologies, as well as NFC/Bluetooth mobile identification. This is the best choice for upgrading existing access control systems.

01 – Seos Profile: a version designed primarily for HID Seos technology and HID Mobile Access mobile credentials. It does not support classic 125 kHz HID Prox cards. Recommended for new, secure installations based exclusively on modern credentials.

02 – Smart Profile: a profile dedicated to modern 13.56 MHz smart cards, such as iCLASS, MIFARE, or DESFire. This version does not support 125 kHz technology. Used in systems requiring a higher level of security and data encryption.

03 – Custom Profile: a version customized for a specific client or project. It supports non-standard configurations, custom encryption keys, and non-standard data stored on MIFARE or DESFire cards. Most commonly used in large and advanced security systems.
