Hikvision Turret Cameras
Hikvision turret cameras split into two families that need different recorders: TurboHD analogue models send HD-TVI video over coax to a DVR, while IP network models connect to an NVR or network switch and are usually powered over PoE. ColorVu cameras keep colour at night, AcuSense models tell people and vehicles apart, and the range takes in motorised varifocal lenses, 180° panoramic turrets and HeatPro bi-spectrum thermal cameras.

TurboHD analogue turrets
TurboHD cameras run on coax cable to a DVR. The DS-2CE78H0T-IT3E is a 5 MP turret with EXIR night vision reaching about 40 metres, powered over the coax (PoC) or from 12 V DC. The DS-2CE78D0T-IT3FS is a 2 MP 4-in-1 camera with switchable TVI, AHD, CVI and CVBS output and EXIR 2.0 infrared. At 4K, the DS-2CE72UF3T-LSYE combines ColorVu white light and IR illumination with a built-in microphone that sends audio over the coax.
IP network turrets
IP turrets record to an NVR and take power and data on one network cable. The DS-2CD2386G2H-IU records 8 MP (3840×2160) with DarkFighter low-light imaging, AcuSense human and vehicle classification and a built-in microphone, and it records to a microSD card of 512 GB maximum. The DS-2CD2346G2H-IS2U/SL adds active deterrence with a strobe light and a siren. The DS-2XC3346G0H-LISU(PA) is a polymer turret from the anti-corrosion range, rated IP68.

Night imaging, lenses and thermal
The DS-2CE72KF3T-LSYE and DS-2CD2387G3-LIS2UY/SL are ColorVu turrets that use an F1.0 aperture with white light to keep colour in the dark. Smart Hybrid Light models such as the DS-2CD2347G3-LI2UY combine white light with 850 nm IR and selectable lighting modes, and the DS-2CE72UF3T-PIRXO adds a PIR detector, a flashing white light and a siren. A motorised varifocal lens such as the 2.8-12mm on the DS-2CD2H47G3-LIZS2UY/SL is framed from software rather than on a ladder. The DS-2CD2366G2P-ISU/SL stitches two 2.8 mm lenses into one 180° image. For heat detection, the DS-2TD1228T-2/QA pairs a 256×192 thermal module with a 4 MP optical sensor and raises temperature-exception alarms.
