The Bosch NBE-7702-ALXT is a DINION 7100i IR 2MP bullet camera fitted with a 10.5-47 mm motorised zoom lens.

It is the telephoto member of the DINION 7100i IR bullet family, built for long, narrow views where the camera has to reach: perimeters, approach roads, car parks and critical infrastructure. A 1/1.8 inch CMOS sensor is paired with Starlight X for low light and HDR X for scenes that carry bright and dark areas at once. Smart 850 nm infrared reaches up to 140 m, with the beam angle linked to the zoom position.

The illumination follows the lens instead of burning out the foreground. IVA Pro Buildings and IVA Pro Perimeter analytics are pre-installed on the camera itself, and the aluminium housing is rated IP66, IP67, IP6K9K and IK10.

• 10.5-47 mm motorised lens: A P-iris, IR-corrected motorised zoom and focus lens covering a horizontal field of view from 41.60 degrees down to 9.30 degrees, with an aperture of F1.35 to F1.55.
• 2MP with Starlight X: A 1/1.8 inch CMOS sensor at 1920 x 1080 with 2.9 micron pixels, rated 0.0061 lx in colour and 0.0011 lx in monochrome, and 0 lx with the infrared on.
• HDR X at 144 dB: High dynamic range is quoted at 144 dB, with Motion Optimized, Optimized DR and Extreme DR modes for scenes that mix deep shadow and bright light.
• 140 m smart infrared: The default 850 nm illuminator reaches 140 m, with an optional 940 nm invisible module reaching 100 m; multiple beam angles are linked to the zoom position for even coverage.
• IVA Pro on board: IVA Pro Buildings and IVA Pro Perimeter ship pre-installed, with up to 16 simultaneous alarm rules, eight privacy masks and tamper detection. Further licences are available for Traffic, Appearance, PPE, License Plate and Visual Gun Detection.
• H.265 and four streams: H.264, H.265/HEVC and M-JPEG encoding across four configurable streams, at 1 to 60 fps, with ONVIF Profile S, G, T and M conformance.
• Dual microSD recording: Two microSDHC/SDXC slots take cards up to 2 TB and can be set mirrored for redundancy, failover for longer service intervals, or extended for maximum retention.
• Powered your way: PoE to IEEE 802.3af/802.3at Type 1 Class 3 at 7 W to 12.95 W, or 24 VAC and 12-26 VDC. PoE and auxiliary power can be connected at the same time for redundancy.
• Built for weather and abuse: An aluminium housing with a dehumidifying membrane, rated IP66, IP67, IP6K9K, IK10 and NEMA 4X, with surge protection of 1 kV and 1 kA to ground.
• Wide temperature range: Rated -40 °C to +60 °C on PoE and -50 °C to +60 °C on 12 VDC or 24 VAC, with a cold start at -40 °C.
• Installer-friendly termination: A shielded RJ45 plus a punch-down connector for CAT-7 and larger cable, a USB-C port for the wireless commissioning dongle, and a big-ball swivel that locks by hand and then by screw.

Use cases

Specify the ALXT rather than the short-lens ALX when the target is a long way from the camera and the view is narrow. That means a fence line or perimeter run, a site approach or access road, a compound or yard viewed end to end, or a stretch of highway or rail corridor. Bosch publishes DORI reach at both ends of the zoom.

At 10.5 mm the camera detects to 100 m, observes to 40 m, recognises to 20 m and identifies to 10 m. At 47 mm those become 488 m, 194 m, 98 m and 49 m. The 140 m infrared keeps the same view usable after dark.

Electronic image stabilisation and the patented swivel matter on masts, poles and gantries where wind and traffic set the mounting moving, and the corrosion-resistant aluminium housing is intended for exposed sites rather than sheltered ones.
