HIKMICRO HM-TD2638-4/G1/T3Y Thermal & Optical Bi-spectrum Network Bullet Camera, 384 × 288 Thermal, 4.4mm

What it does

The HM-TD2638-4/G1/T3Y combines a thermal module and an optical module in one bullet camera. The thermal module uses 384 x 288 Vanadium Oxide Uncooled Focal Plane Arrays with a 12 μm pixel pitch and a 4.4 mm lens, giving a 60.2° × 40.6° (H × V) field of view.

The optical module uses a 1/2.7" Progressive Scan CMOS at 2688 × 1520 with a 2.2 mm lens and 120 dB WDR, and the IR illuminator reaches up to 30 m. Bi-spectrum image fusion displays the details of the optical channel on the thermal channel, and picture in picture displays a partial thermal image on the full optical screen.

Temperature measurement supports 3 rule types (point, area, line), 21 rules in total, over -20 °C to 150 °C with an accuracy of ± 8 °C. Fire detection finds up to 10 fire points, and smoking detection up to 10 smoking points.

Where it is used

The camera is rated IP67, with an IK10-rated housing, a NEMA 4X anti-corrosion housing and TVS 4000V lightning protection. Working temperature is -40°C to 70°C, with humidity 95% or less.

Installation notes

Power options are 24 VAC ± 25%, 12 VDC ± 25% or PoE (802.3af, class 3). Power consumption is max. 12.1W on 24 VAC, max. 11.3W on 12 VDC and max. 11.8W on PoE.

Interfaces include 1 RJ45 10 M/100 M self-adaptive Ethernet interface, 1 RS-485 interface (half duplex), 2 alarm inputs (0-5 VDC), 2-ch relay alarm outputs and a 3.5 mm Mic in/Line in audio input.

The camera measures 376.1 mm × 119.1 mm × 118.1 mm and weighs 1.82 kg. It supports ISAPI, ISUP, HIKVISION SDK and ONVIF (Profile S, Profile G, Profile T, Profile M).

Day to day

VCA rules cover line crossing, intrusion, region entrance and region exiting, with a VCA range of 52 m for humans and 120 m for vehicles. The GUANLAN Large-Scale AI Model extends human/vehicle detection distance with ultra low false alarm.

Storage options are MicroSD/SDHC/SDXC card (up to 512 G) local storage and NAS (NFS, SMB/CIFS), and the camera works with the iVMS-4200 and Hik-Connect clients. A built-in TPM2.0 encryption module adds cybersecurity.
