The new range of 4G GSM modules are manufactured in the familiar modular 4000 series range with a 316 grade stainless steel matt finish and are also available in a gun metal grey finish. The modules are available with 0, 1 and 2 button configurations, however the modules are expandable up to 50 call buttons using a combination of additional 4000 series button modules (4042-4045). They have the facility to divert to additional numbers if the first is busy or unanswered (up to 3 divert numbers per button).

The 4G GSM intercom module is able to connect to 2G, 3G and 4G networks and is designed for global use. The new 4G GSM intercom modules have all the original features of the previous GSM PRO series intercoms and now include new programming features. In addition to the existing 1000 dial to open numbers (with access levels) it can store up to 32 temporary dial to open numbers that are programmable from 1-255 hours.

It also includes an automatic time correction feature (for when the 4G GSM is used in different time zones) and daylight saving time adjustments. The RS485 bus connectivity allows the GSM module to be expanded to a networkable access control system (up to a total of 8 devices) which can include both proximity, using the 4850R off board expansion reader, and coded access, using the 4903 keypad. When the GSM module is networked with the 4903 keypad it can be programmed remotely with up to 400 permanent access codes and 32 temporary codes (between 1-255 hr after which time will automatically be deleted).

The RS485 bus also allows the 4G GSM module to be networked with additional 2813 remote relay modules (up to 64 remote relay devices). Programming can also be carried out using the GSMSK PC software either connected via the micro USB port or RS485 bus or remotely via the new over the air feature (programming is still carried out using the PC software however the 4G GSM module is not physically connected to a PC directly by the micro USB port or RS485 bus). An event log (up to 4000 stored events) is maintained within the 4G GSM module and can be downloaded via the USB port or RS485 bus connection using the PC software or can be viewed remotely and monitored in real time using the online web browser events application (the events can be viewed on any device such as a smartphone, tablet or PC).
