CCTV Licences & VMS Software

Video management platforms are licensed rather than bought outright, and this range holds the licences that open them: device and channel licences that add cameras to a system, user licences that add operators, and the site licences that join separate installations into one.

Most of the range is video. Axis supplies universal device licences, device NVR licences, security analysis licences and additional-user licences; Dahua covers DSS multi-site licensing, MobileCenter and an IP speaker device licence; Xtralis supplies ADPRO video analytics, with IntrusionTrace and LoiterTrace channel licences for ADPRO NVRs and the iFT platform licence; and i-PRO adds camera and user licences. Other manufacturers account for a smaller group covering fire and life-safety systems, with graphical control and remote-monitoring software, and one licence covers a receiver platform for monitoring companies. A licence is issued against a named platform and version, and the product page states what each one expects to find already running.

Licences are bought against the hardware they run on — see CCTV Cameras and CCTV Recorders & Storage. For Hikvision and Ruijie licensing see Software & Licences, and for the fire panels that software reports on, see Fire Alarm Systems.
