HikCentral Licences

HikCentral runs a site's cameras, doors and intercoms from one client, and it is licensed in layers: a base licence opens the platform, channel licences add what it watches, and modules add what it does. Licences for both editions sit here — HikCentral Professional and HikCentral Lite.

Base licences are sized for video and, as HikCentral access control base licences, by the number of doors. Expansions raise those counts as a system grows — video channels, doors, and indoor and outdoor intercom stations. Channel add-ons licence what the platform reads from a camera: ANPR, facial and body recognition, thermal reporting and AcuSeek search. Modules cover the jobs a site runs on top, among them visitor management, time and attendance, mustering, guard patrol, SmartWall video wall control, parking, digital signage, mobile surveillance and remote site management, with pStor picture storage, Optimus integration and a unified global licence alongside them. Every licence is issued against a HikCentral part number, and most assume a base licence already in place.
