Floodlights

An LED floodlight puts a wide, even wash of light across a driveway, yard or car park from one fitting, and at LED wattages it does so for a fraction of what the halogen units it replaced consumed.

The range runs from 10W to 30W, roughly 1,200 to 2,700 lumens, in 6000K and 6500K daylight colour temperatures that keep an outdoor area looking lit rather than tinted. All are IP44 rated for exposed mounting. PIR versions switch on to movement and off again on a timer, which is what makes a floodlight a deterrent rather than a running cost; non-PIR versions suit areas that need continuous light or that are switched from inside. Knightsbridge, ESP, Energizer, Mercury and LYYT supply the range, in black and white bodies.
